On 6th of December, a delegation from Agder University in Norway visited the VU Faculty of Communication. The visit was attended by Svein Heddeland, advisor, and Roy Emanuelsen, associate professor at the Department of Nordic and Media Studies, and Geir Christian Johannessen, PhD student.
The latest subject rankings of the country’s educational institutions were published today. Vilnius University (VU) was the best performer in the ranking, as it is every year – the University was declared the leader in more than one-third of the evaluated bachelor’s degree programmes and almost half of the master’s degree programmes. This year, VU has improved its position in 7 bachelor’s and 5 master’s study fields.
The Council of the Faculty of Communication of Vilnius University elected prof. dr. Renata Matkevičienė as the Dean of the Faculty of Communication of Vilnius University for a five-year term of office by a majority vote of the Council at its meeting on 28th November 2022.

The elections for the Dean of the Faculty of Communication in Vilnius University will be held in 28th of November in Council meeting.
From September 28 to October 1 of this year, partners of the international project "Identity on the Line" from 7 European countries will visit Vilnius. During partner meetings, that are held in the project in each country, not only research conducted by different partners is discussed, issues related to project implementation are resolved, but also activities open to the public are organized: seminars, excursions, discussions, etc.
