The project is aimed to study the political, economic, and social risk factors of Lithuanian journalism and to analyze the situation of Lithuanian journalism in the contexts of these factors.

The project will analyze the political, economic, and social circumstances that influenced the development of Lithuanian journalism. A representative survey of Lithuanian journalists will be conducted, assessing political, economic, and social influences on journalists, editorial autonomy of journalists, security, and uncertainty of journalists in their professional environment. The research results will be presented to the academic community, and the public by publishing a scientific study and scientific articles, giving presentations at scientific conferences. The results of the research will be published in the Worlds of Journalism Study database (website). The information on the results will also be published in the Lithuanian media.
