On 12–13 May, Dr. Adeniyi D. Olarewaju, a lecturer and researcher at the School of Business, Maynooth University (Ireland), will visit the Faculty of Communication at Vilnius University.

All are welcome to join an open lecture and a presentation of a joint international project by the VU Faculty of Communication and Maynooth University – a project dedicated to fostering inclusion in higher education, with a particular focus on students with disabilities or from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

Together with Gintarė Kriaučiūnaitė-Lazauskienė, Junior Research Assistant at the Faculty of Communication, Dr. Olarewaju will present the joint international project “Voices Unheard: We DARE you to HEAR us and MAP an Inclusive, Engaging Classroom for Underrepresented Students in Higher Education”, developed as part of the Arqus Teaching Innovation Fund programme.
Dr. Olarewaju will also share his teaching experience and present the project’s progress and initial results. The discussion will explore innovative, student-centered teaching strategies, including Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and active learning methods.
The project brings together researchers, students, and external partners from Vilnius University and Maynooth University, as well as collaborators from Lithuania and Ireland.
All those interested are invited to attend an open lecture and a presentation of a joint international project developed by the VU Faculty of Communication and Maynooth University.
