Senior Assoc. Prof. Steffen Moestrup from the Danish School of Media and Journalism will visit the Faculty of Communication on 12–15 May. We kindly invite you to attend the open lectures he will deliver during his visit:
May 12th at 3 PM, JR5 auditorium (Saulėtekio al. 9) – Lecture on "Imagine There are No Countries: On Probabilistic Storytelling and Future Journalism" for bachelor students
May 13th at 1 PM, Radio auditorium (Maironio g. 7) – Lecture on "The Digital Story Model - a hands-on approach for better storytelling" for bachelor students
May 15th at 5 PM, „Universiteto žurnalisto“ redakcija (Maironio g. 7) – Another lecture on "The Digital Story Model - a hands-on approach for better storytelling" for master students
Steffen Moestrup is Senior Associate Professor at the Danish School of Media and Journalism. His research areas include documentary film, digital storytelling and cultural criticism. Moestrup is a freelance film critic for various publications including Indiewire and the Scandinavian edition of Le Monde diplomatique. Furthermore, he is the host of the film show film:syn aired on national Danish television. Moestrup is a FIPRESCI member and has worked on juries at various film festivals including IDFA, Cannes, Toronto, Perm, Mumbai and Thessaloniki. He is an international voter for the Golden Globes.
