What is pre-accelerator?
VU Tech Hub together with the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) invites everyone with innovative ideas to register for the fifth cohort of pre-accelerator - intensive training and mentoring sessions made to turn your innovative idea to a prototyope, provide entrepreneurship knowledge, introduce you to investors and to help develope your ideas in every way.
This will be the fifth cohort of the pre-accelerator - so far, in four cohorts, we have received more than 400 applications, 70 startups have already completed the program, currently, 20 more teams are participating. The pre-accelerator brought together more than 250 innovators, 3 participants have already received investment from private investors, 8 have received financial support from MITA, 10 of them took part in the accelerators abroad.
Why should you participate?
The program contains a total of twelve training topics. Startups will refine the target customer, perform market and competitor analysis, create market entry strategy, learn about business and product development, branding, team building and gain other knowledge necessary to develope the idea.
Successful graduates will have the opportunity to present themselves to the investors at the final “Demo Day” event. In addition, the best performing teams will be awarded valuable prizes - tickets to accelerators abroad and trips to meetings with partners or events in the EU countries.
Who can apply?
- Any person or team with an innovative idea
- Early stage startups (small companies with high and innovation-based business development potential, operating for up to 5 years)
Each applicant team will have to provide information about the startup, team, and service (product). The received applications will be evaluated and the participants will be selected by the project experts.
