Lect. Isabel Simões-Ferreira from Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa (Portugal) holds lectures at Faculty of Communication on 18-21 of April 2017.
Isabel Simões-Ferreira is Head Coordinator Professor at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social (ESCS) - Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa/Lisbon Polytechnic Institute (IPL). She teaches Media Discourse Analysis and Culture and Media. Apart from her teaching activities, she is currently the President of the Technical and Scientific Council at ESCS and a research collaborator at the Centre for English Studies of Lisbon University /ULICES. She has published on Anglo-Portuguese studies, English literature (especially on the British empire in India) and the media coverage of events, ranging from the mediatization of the British royal family to the press coverage of Brexit in Portugal.
