Topic - Museums for all? Museums and their communities.
The assumption is that museums should be accessible for all people. In practice this is not the case. When it comes to access, representation, and participation many people are excluded, mostly not intentionally. Is it a solution to re-conceptualize visitors (and potential visitors) in terms of “communities of interest”?
